The Releasing Potential Institute will be hosting our third annual conference on 10th July. Tired of attending dull conferences? Here are 10 reasons to attend #RPCONF19!

1. To develop your practise

As professionals, we need to keep up to date with current practice. Many of us qualified over 20 years ago(Yes, it really was that long ago) and we should be making a conscious effort to continue our professional development.

2. Attend our great Keynote sessions

We have confirmed TWO great Keynotes: Dr Kathy Weston and Hugh Constant. Both sessions will be covering how to better transitions for children and Young people in education and preparing for adulthood.

3. To hear other’s experiences

Learning from each other is a great way to reflect on our own practice. Although it is inspiring to hear positive outcomes, It is refreshing to hear negative outcomes as believe it or not, we all make mistakes.

4. To attend 4 great workshops

We are incredibly excited to be hosting a conference with such wonderful workshops. From ADHD and mental health to Outdoor Education and Social Enterprise – a broad range of topics will be covered.

5. To meet new people

Come and meet like-minded people and grow your connections.

6. The delicious lunch

Unlike most conferences, we will be treating all attendees to a hot sit-down lunch. The food has received great compliments from past attendees and is far from the traditional egg sandwich and sausage roll combo.

7. Catch up the Releasing Potential Institute team

Have any questions about our Managing Challenging Behaviour courses or would like to learn more about our consultancy work? Our team will be able to point you in the right direction.

8. The beautiful venue

The New Place Hotel in Shirrell Heath is such an exquisite venue. Please take your time between workshops to have a look around the immaculate grounds.

9. More food..

Did we mention the food? We will be offering breakfast upon arrival and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits.

10. To CHALLENGE yourself

Talking about and implementing change can be difficult. Engage your brain and challenge your thoughts and practice to ensure you are doing the best for Children and Young People.
