Emma Jones

RYA Senior Sailing Instructor & Coastal Centre Manager


Emma has been working within the watersports industry for 15 years and is a qualified RYA Senior Sailing Instructor (dinghy and keelboat). Emma is also a Windsurf and Powerboat Instructor as well as a Level 1 Paddle Sports Coach. Emma manages the Coastal Centre and is the first point of contact for enquiries and those attending on site..

Mike King

RYA Senior Sailing Instructor


Mike has over twenty years’ experience as a Senior Sailing Instructor and has spent his professional career supporting a wide rnage of learners on the water. He is a Qualified Insturutor and holds a range of National Governing Body Awards in activities such as Canoing and Kayaking.

Steve Skinner

RYA Senior Sailing Instructor


Steve is a highly experienced Sailing Instructor, having delivered sailing activities and experiences to a range of learners for twenty years. He is also a qualified Powerboat Instructor and runs the Levels 1 & 2 Powerboat courses at the centre.

Milly Joseph

Sailing Instructor


Milly is a Senior Sailing Instructor and Keelboat and Dinghy Instructor. Milly has been involved in sailing for many years and holds additional qualifications in Powerboat (L2), Safety Boat, Outdoor First Aid and Marine Radio Certification. Milly has been a lead instructor on our Trafalgar Sailing Project since 2016.

Duncan Stanway

Sailing Instructor


Duncan is a qulaified Sailing Instructor and has been qualified to deliver a range of watersports since 2013. He holds additional qualifications in Kayaking and Canoeing (L2) and a 4 star in Sea Kayaking and Canoeing qualification. Duncan has been a Dingy Instructor with a keelboat endorsement and has also a Powerboat Instructor since 2015.

Wayne Peters

NWSMP Trainer


Wayne has many years’ experience teaching water-based activities to a range of learners. He is an avid swimmer and holds a range of National Governing Body qualifications. Wayne delivers the National Water Safety Management Programme here at the Coastal Centre.
