National Water Safety Management Programme
We deliver the Royal Life Saving Society’s National Water Safety Management Programme (NWSMP) several times each year from our base of operations in Havant. The two-day course involves classroom and practical training.
The NWSMP is designed to respond to the water safety needs of anyone working near, in, or on water and especially those with supervisory responsibility. This programme recognises and addresses the simple but true adage that “accident prevention is better than cure”.
The NWSMP is built around a modular framework; this creates the flexibility to match the needs of a wide range of users, reflecting the range of activities that take place in and around the water’s edge. The NWSMP also allows users to construct relevent, bespoke training programmes by selecting and linking together modules most suited to their operational and individual needs, resulting in RLSS UK certified award.
Thanks Wayne – I feel much more confident about taking groups near or on the water. The course was really helpful and I would recommend it to others hoping to get a good understanding of how to operate safely within a work context.Ashleigh

Overall, the instructors covered every area of safety in the course. Thank you to both instructors. I felt very comfortable, engaged and I have learned a lot. Thanks you for your understanding and patience and for letting me back!Becky
