The Institute is the academic research and professional training wing of Releasing Potential, an educational charity and Department-for-Education-registered Independent School for young people with Special Educational Needs. Drawing on seventeen years’ experience working with young people who are disengaged from mainstream education, the Institute has developed a range of research projects, events and training in the fields of education, childhood studies, social pedagogy and behaviour management.
