Forest School Holiday Activity Days
We run Forest School Holiday Activity Days at our sites at Stansted Park and in Slindon Woods.
Our Forest School Holiday Activity days give children aged 4-11 years the chance to spend a whole day playing in the forest, and to experience a range of woodland activities with children they may not already know.
Our activity days are run by Mikey Pearce, Jackie Cleall and Donna Sewell who are assisted by colleagues from the Releasing Potential School team. All are extremely experienced in working with children in the outdoors. This allows us to maintain a good ratio of staff to young people, and ensure that everyone has as much help and attention as they need.
The range of activities is enormous, and children are always inventing new ways of playing in the forest; it is not unusual, therefore, for children to participate in a number of activity days over the same holiday period and some parents choose to send their children for a full week at a time.
The Forest School Holiday Activity Days run from 08.30am to 3.30pm during half term, summer, Easter and Christmas holiday periods. Children need to bring a packed lunch and are advised to wear appropriate clothing depending on the weather, this should include wellington boots and full waterproofs.
Our Christmas Holiday Activity Day is Friday 22nd December 2017
